Signature is the brand name given to the premium services brought to you by Diamond. When designing the specification for Signature we listened to passengers comments to provide what is good and discard what is bad about travelling by bus.
Signature aims to fulfil an important social requirement for public transport in a way that meets the requirements of busy people with deadlines to meet. The services have been routed and scheduled to deliver passengers to destinations feeling relaxed and comfortable having had the opportunity to catch up with important tasks during the journey – whether those tasks be for work, school or leisure.
The buses used on the Signature network were designed specifically for these services. They were chosen to have a light and airy feel conducive to a pleasant journey and are all designed to be accessible to less able users. The large windows, subtle and refined colour scheme and recessed lighting all play their part in giving the buses the “right feel”.
The seating in the Signature network buses is something special – relax in comfortable high-backed leather seats that are ergonomically designed to be comfortable to passengers.
The timetable has been developed from previous generations of schedule to be more deliverable, we aim to get you there on time!
Not only will the Mercedes engine in your Signature bus perform smoothly and quietly during your journey but it will also perform cleanly with their Euro 5 engines excedding the stringent and demanding new vehicle emission standards. In 2013 we also launched a fleet of six Optare Versa Hybrid buses into the Signature fleet, providing even lower Co2 emissions, promoting a cleaner and greener environment. However, there’s nothing green about running an empty bus! So why not leave the car at home and give us a try, travelling as many times as you wish with a weekly or monthly pass!
