Borough Rd, Burton Road Closures Phase 3 26/02/2026 13:01:26

From 2nd until 16th March 2026

Phase 3 of the Burton Cycle Scheme roadworks will commence from 2nd March until 16th March, with continued road closures around the Town Hall Area. The following services will be affected as follows:

Services 401, 402 & 403 - Will be diverted in both directions. The following Bus Stops will not be served:
King Edward Place (Town Hall)
St Pauls St West (Both Stops)
Sobbingly St - Halcyon Way
Shobnall St - Saw Mill Way
Shobnall St - Edward St

Alternative Bus Stops will be:
Waterloo St - No.153
Waterloo St - Albert St
Waterloo St - Casey Lane

In Addition Derby St Lidl will be available for journeys heading towards Town Centre.

Service 402A - Will be diverted towards the Town Centre only. The following Bus Stops will not be served:
Wellington St - Curzon St West
Wellington St - Post Office
Waterloo St - 6th Form College
Derby St - Lidl
Borough Rd - Railway Station
Station St - Devonshire Arms
Union St - Sainsburys

Due to the delays being caused by this road closure and traffic lights, there will be changes to the diversion until at least Friday 23rd January.
