£2 Fare Cap Offer Extended!!!

Diamond Bus are pleased to announce that will will be continuing to take part in the Government funded* £2 Fare Cap Scheme.
This means that single bus fares on eligible services will continue to be no more than £2 per trip until October 2023.
...and following a review, The Diamond South East Surrey Network will also now be joining the scheme from 1st July… just in time for you to enjoy some great Summer journeys out!

There are some great places to visit and a wealth of things to see and do across all the Diamond Bus regions and with our new £2 single fare price, it’s a great time to get out and explore your area by bus.
You can now make a single journey on the majority of Diamond services, and never pay more than £2* . Don’t worry if your single fare is usualy less than £2, it will stay the same price! You can buy our new £2 single ticket on board from your friendly driver using cash, contactless payment or Apple/Google Pay. It’s that simple!
If you are a regular traveller, intend to make a number of journeys during your day or are travelling in a family/group, you may find that our range of day, week & month tickets offer even greater value.

£2 Fare Scheme Terms & Conditions:
This offer covers the majority* of services for Diamond Bus across the following Counties: West Midlands County, Shropshire, Warwickshire & Worcestershire | for Diamond East Midlands Services across the following counties: Staffordshire, Derbyshire & Leicestershire | for Diamond South East: Surrey. Offer does not extend to Diamond North West services who are currently partaking in the Greater Manchester Fare Scheme. £2 Single tickets are valid for one single journey only on the service purchased on.
Service Exceptions:
Diamond East Midlands: *Some contracted services are not eligible to be included in this offer, as follows: Not valid on 009, 19A, 322 & Florette staff services.
Diamond West Midlands & Worcestershire: *Some contracted services are not eligible to be included in this offer, as follows: Not valid on B1, R1, C B’ham Uni, Bromsgrove on Demand, N1, N2, 142, 142A, 17H, 22, 25 Erdington, 27, 27A, 45, 5, 5A, 600, A15, A16, 17, 17A, 17S, 18, 25 Dudley, 57 Stourbridge, 81.
Diamond South East: *Some contracted services are not eligible to be included in this offer, as follows: Not valid on 616, 814, RH2, RH3, 663, H30, BL1, BL2
*The Bus Fare Cap Grant scheme is a Government funded scheme and part of the Help for Household campaign. The £2 fare cap offer is available on most single bus journeys across England, the scheme has been extended until 31st October 2023
