Service Changes from Sunday 16th April 2023 UPDATE
Below is a guide to the current planned changes from Week Commencing Sunday 16th April 2023. This is an update to the information released on 18th January 2023.
We have now completed our dialogue with TfGM over the impact of these changes which has been ongoing since before Christmas 2022 and we are not anticipating any further changes.
The result is the majority of journeys that we are due to withdraw have been replaced by TfGM with a new operator, Go North West. There will continue to be off peak journeys (Sunday daytime, daily early morning and daily evenings) that we will continue to be operated by Diamond Bus North West.
Diamond Bus tickets and passes, will not be accepted for travel on journeys operated by Go North West. We recommend you purchase a System One ticket for travel on all buses within Greater Manchester.
8: Bolton – Farnworth – Pendlebury – Salford Shopping Centre – Manchester Market St/Deansgate.
Mon-Sat daytime timetable revised to operate every 15 mins.
21: Agecroft – Pendlebury – Swinton – Eccles – The Trafford Centre.
This service will remain unchanged with Diamond Bus North West continuing to operate all journeys. Following discussions with TfGM we have agreed to continue to operate the Mon-Fri journeys that we originally intended to withdraw.
36/37: Bolton – Walkden – Swinton – Salford Shopping Centre – Manchester Piccadilly.
Mon-Fri daytime timetable will be revised to operate every 15 mins on each service and will still operate frequently between Manchester and Walkden.
150: Trafford Centre – Stretford – Gorton.
In conjunction with TfGM we have reviewed the punctuality of these services and we will introduce a revised timetable, timings have been reviewed on all sections of route and assessed at all timing points, therefore TfGM and ourselves are confident that the changes will improve punctuality.
163: Bury – Darnhill - Heywood – Langley – Middleton – Manchester Piccadilly.
The majority of journeys are withdrawn by Diamond Bus North West. TfGM supported journeys will still operate early morning and evenings, and on Sunday daytimes. Go North West will operate a revised timetable on behalf of TfGM which is generally operates every 15 mins Mon-Sat daytime. Click here for our timetable
370/371: ROUTE CHANGE Stockport – Cheadle - Altrincham.
In conjunction with TfGM we have reviewed the punctuality of these services and we will introduce a revised timetable, timings have been reviewed on all
sections of route and assessed at all timing points, therefore TfGM and ourselves are confident that the changes will improve punctuality. Also, TFGM have also asked us to re-route service 371 to operate via Craig Rd, Heaton Mersey and East Didsbury Parrs Wood therefore omitting Edgeley. The route of service 370 is unchanged.
520: Bolton – Deane - Ladybridge – Lostock - Westhoughton circular.
The majority of journeys are withdrawn by Diamond Bus North West. We will continue to operate TfGM supported journeys early morning, Evenings and Sunday. Go North West will operate a replacement daytime service on behalf of TFGM. Click here for our timetable
524: Bolton – Little Lever – Radcliffe – Bury.
Mon-Sat daytime timetable will be revised to operate every 15 mins.
527: NEW SERVICE Bolton – Hall I’th’Wood – Smithills - Halliwell - Bolton
Following discussions with TfGM we have agreed to operate this Hourly Mon-Sat daytime service currently operated by Vision Bus.
561/562: Bolton – Breightmet/Withins circular.
The majority of journeys are withdrawn, TfGM supported journeys will still operate early morning and evenings. Go North West will operate a replacement daytime service on behalf of TFGM. Click here for our timetable

Mon-Sat daytime timetable will be revised to operate every 15 mins. Sunday daytime timetable will be revised to every 30 mins.
