The latest information on your local services
There are a few new services starting, some modifications to current services, and also some timetable changes.
Here's a list of what's coming up from 27th January, but if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch (our contact details will be at the bottom).
Service 278 (Manchester city centre to Reddish) - Service withdrawn by Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM), and replaced by new services 84, 179 and 272, and partially replaced by service 79 near Old Trafford. Information on these new/ altered services can be found below.
Service 293 (Eccles to Trafford Park) - Peak-only service withdrawn, and partially replaced by new service 272.
Services 603/ 604 (Windy Arbour/ Winstanley to St Edmund Arrowsmith/ Byrchall High Schools) - School services to/ from St. Edmund Arrowsmith (SEAHS)/ Byrchall High Schools will no longer be operated by Diamond.
Service 654 (Walkden town Centre to Leigh) - Early morning journey operated on behalf of Transport for Greater Manchester withdrawn.
Services 663, 664, 665 & 666 (Winstanley College/ St. John Rigby College services) - College services to/ from Winstanley and St. John Rigby Colleges will no longer be operated by Diamond.
Services 777/ 778 (Lower Ince to St. Edmund Arrowsmith/ Byrchall High Schools) - School services to/ from SEAHS/ Byrchall High School will no longer be operated by Diamond.
Service 13 - New Monday to Saturday daytime/ early evening service, running between Worsley Court House and Salford Quays, via Monton and Eccles. The service operates every 20 minutes during the day Monday to Friday, and every 30 minutes on Saturdays.
Service 15 - Early morning journey operated under contract with TfGM retimed.
Service 84 - New Monday to Saturday service partially replacing Service 278, operating hourly from Manchester city centre (Albert Square) to Chorlton Green.
Service 179 - New Monday to Saturday service running between Reddish, Houldsworth Square and Wythenshawe Interchange, partly replacing withdrawn service 278.
Service 272 - New hourly service partially replacing both the 278 and 293 services, while connecting Eccles and Wythenshawe. Journeys operate hourly Monday to Saturday between Eccles and Wythenshawe, and every 2 hours on Sundays (between Sale Metrolink Station and Baguley only).
Service 65 - Minor timetable changes to improve punctuality, and also to accommodate departures of new service 272.
Service 66 - Minor timetable changes to improve punctuality, and also to accommodate departures of new service 272.
Service 79 - Route changed near White City Retail Park to operate via Warwick Road and Talbot Road instead of running direct via Chester Road, to partially replace withdrawn service 278. The route between Salford Shopping Centre and Langworthy Road is also changed to run via Broad Street and Eccles Old Road instead of Fitzwarren Street and Seedley Road.
Service 132 - Early morning journeys from Wigan (0536 Monday to Friday, 0636/ 0736 Saturday) have been curtailed (cut short) to start from Atherton, Mealhouse Lane, starting at 0607 (Monday to Friday), and 0707/ 0807 (Saturdays). The journey from Wigan at 0636 Monday to Friday will now start from HIndley at 0650. The rest of the timetable remains unchanged.
Service 260 - Introduction of Sunday service, operating every 2 hours.
Service 517 - Timetable change to improve punctuality.
Service 635 - Timetable and frequency changed on daytime journeys. Monday to Friday frequency reduced to operating from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes, with Saturdays moving from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes. Journeys to/ from Wrightington Hospital are unaffected.
Service 683 - Timetable changed, and frequency reduced to every 40 minutes.
Service 694 - Early morning journeys added/ retimed to accommodate withdrawal of contracted service 654.
Service 695 - Minor timetable changes to improve punctuality.
**Added** Service 516 - The 1740 journey from Leigh is retimed to depart Leigh at 1725. Journey times will be different throughout
