Change of Routemaster Ticket Name 20/03/2025 11:29:14

From 21st March 2025

The Burton Routemaster Day Tickets currently available to purchase onboard will be renamed from 21st March to be consistent with product names in our app and on our website.

• The Adult Burton Routemaster will be called “Adult Burton Zone Day”

• The Child Burton Routemaster will be called “Child Burton Zone Day”

There will be no change to validity and these will continue to be valid only within the Burton Zone. 

Burton Zone tickets cover all of routes 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 17, 18, 21, 21E, 22, 24. They are also valid for travel on parts of the following routes:
X12 between Burton and Branston
12/12E between Burton and Barton-under-Needwood
9 between Burton and Boundary
19 between Burton and Netherseal
401 between Burton and Hatton
402 between Burton and Tutbury
403 between Burton and Acorn Inn.

Branston Road Bridge Closure 08/10/2024 10:24:36

From 7th August 2024 until further notice

Branston Road Railway Bridge will be closed to buses for the forseeable future, During these restrictions the following services will be affected and diverted.

Services 12, 12E, X12 & JTFS10 (School Journey to JTFS only, normal 10 unaffected)
Into Burton: We will use Main St B5018, Clays Lane, Eighth Ave, Parkway, Shobnall Rd, Evershed Way, Orchard St, New St.
Out of Burton: We will use New St, Lichfield St, Orchard St, Evershed Way, Shobnall Rd, Parkway, Eighth Ave, Clays Lane, Burton Rd.

Services 831 & 832 (Service 827 is unaffected)
Into Burton: We will use A1521, Shobnall Rd, Evershed Way, Orchard St, New St.
Out of Burton: We will use New St, Lichfield St, Orchard St, Evershed Way, Shobnall Rd, A1521.

Service 812 
Towards School: Will continue along Burton Rd and serve Regents Park Rd loop, then turn left onto Burton Rd, left Anglesey Rd, Shobnall Rd, Parkway, Eighth Ave, Clays Lane, Burton Rd.
