Burton Cycle Scheme Road Closures Phase 4 - Service 827 17/03/2026 15:32:44

From 17th March until 7th May 2026 - Updated.

Phase 4 of the Burton Cycle Scheme roadworks will commence from 17th March, with continued road closures around the Town Hall Area. (Please be aware that the start date & times may vary closer to the time).

The following services will be affected as follows:

Service 827  - The 827 will be unable to serve the following Bus Stops on the AM to Paget School:
Shobnall Street – All Stops
St Pauls St West
St Pauls Square
King Edward Place (Town Hall)
6th Form College (Waterloo St)

Students will need to make their way to their nearest alternative Bus Stops on Waterloo St:
Waterloo St - No.153
Waterloo St - Albert St
Waterloo St - Casey Lane

Service 827 - Will divert via Anglesey Rd, Shobnall Rd & Shobnall St on the PM journey.
Students requiring Town Hall will need to disembark at Shobnall St and walk to the Town Hall.

The following Bus Stops will not be served towards Horninglow:
Wellington St – Curzon St West
Wellington St – Post Office
Derby St - Lidl
King Edward Place – Town Hall
St Pauls St West – No Stops

Alternative Bus Stops will be:
Shobnall St – All Stops
