New Sunday Service from 29th September 2024
For Monday to Saturday services between West Bromwich and Perry Barr see Service 61
From 21st October, Wellington Road will be closed for two weeks. Services 54 and 61will be diverted during this time as follows:
54 From Perry Barr: From A34, continue along Birchfield Road, Turn right into Heathfield Road, Right then immediately left into Church Hill Road, Right onto Hamstead Road then resume Normal Line of Route.
54 towards Perry Barr: Reverse of above.
The following roads will not be served during this time: Wellington Rd, Hutton Rd, Stamford Rd, Putney Rd, Gibson Rd and Hamstead Rd (between Gibson Rd and Church Hill Rd).
61 From Perry Barr: From A34, continue along Birchfield Road, Turn right into Heathfield Road, Right then immediately left into Church Hill Road, Right onto Hamstead Road, left onto Church Lane then resume Normal Line of Route.
61 towards Perry Barr: Reverse of above.
The following roads will not be served during this time: Wellington Rd, Wood Ln, Handsworth Wood Rd
From 29th September the Sunday service of 54A will be withdrawn and will be partially replaced by the introduction of a new service 61A West Bromwich and Perry Barr Rail Station via Europa Village.
