Borough Rd, Burton Road Closures Phase 3 26/02/2026 13:01:39

From 2nd until 16th March 2026

Phase 3 of the Burton Cycle Scheme roadworks will commence from 2nd March until 16th March, with continued road closures around the Town Hall Area. The following services will be affected as follows:

Service 6 - Will serve all Bus Stops as normal in both directions.

Service 7 - Will be diverted towards the Hospital only. The following Bus Stops will not be served:
Union St - Sainsburys
Station St - Devonshire Arms
Borough Rd - Railway Station
King Edward Place (Town Hall)
St Pauls St West (Both Stops)

Alternative Bus Stops will be:
New Street
Shobnall St - Halcyon Way

Towards Town Centre will serve normal Bus Stops.

Service 7A - Will be diverted towards the Town Centre only. The following Bus Stops will not be served:
St Pauls St West (Both Stops)
King Edward Place (Town Hall)
Borough Rd - Railway Station
Station St - Devonshire Arms
Union St - Sainsburys

Alternative Bus Stops will be:
Shobnall St - Halcyon Way
New Street

Towards Hospital will serve normal Bus Stops.
