Service Updates

Borough Rd Road Closure - Phase 2 15/01/2026 16:16:46

From 15th January until 15th February 2026

Phase 2 of the Borough Rd Road Closure will commence from 12pm 15th January.

During this closure, services 6, 7, 7A, 401, 402, 402A, 403 will be affected as follows:

Non of these services will be able to serve the following stops when departing from New St:
Union St - Outside Sainsbury's
Station St - Outside Devonshire Arms
Borough Rd - Outside Rail Station

Alternative stops are: New St - Normal Stops & Wellington St - Opposite Post Office

In addition:
Service 7, 401, 402, 403 will also serve Lidl, Derby St.

Service 402A will also NOT serve Wellington St - Post Office & Curzon St West.
Only Alternative stop for service 402A is New St or Shobnall Rd (Nr, The Range

Service 827 & 831 are NOT affected by the diversions, but timings may be.

All services heading towards New St, will resume their normal route.

Timetables may be affected by the diversions, please allow additional time for your journey.

Our App provider is working towards an update to resolve this issue, however in the meantime, we advise customers with the latest versions of Android OS to check if they are able to download the app to their device BEFORE purchasing tickets online.
