Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Commercial Analyst to support our operations, commercial strategy, and reporting functions. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced transport environment. Key Responsibilities

 Reporting & Insights

  • Produce accurate KPIs, dashboards, and reports for depot management and senior regional leadership.
  • Present findings and highlight key issues, trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide insights to support data-driven decision-making.

Data Management & System Maintenance

  • Maintain internal data systems to ensure accurate information is fed to ticket machines and external data platforms.
  • Implement timetable changes, service revisions, and new ticketing schemes in partnership with the Commercial team.
  • Ensure seamless integration across web systems, ticketing platforms, and operational data sources.

Compliance & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Ensure data and service information meet Department for Transport and Local Authority requirements.
  • Work with Local Authorities to provide data, performance updates, and service improvement information.
  • Support administrative tasks including service registrations and invoice data.

Commercial Support

  • Assist the Commercial team with pricing submissions for tenders and contractual proposals.
  • Support the Scheduling Officer with timetables, schedules, and mapping documentation.
  • Contribute to other commercial tasks as required.

What You’ll Bring

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
