West Midlands Fare Cap Changes

From 1st January Diamond Bus West Midlands adult single fare will be £2.90, which is cheaper than the Government's new £3 single fare cap scheme.
Diamond Bus is pleased to confirm its participation in the Government’s £3 single bus fare cap, which will run from 1st January 2025.
As part of this new scheme, the cost of an adult single bus journey will remain affordable at a Maximum of £3 per journey on services across the wider Diamond network, however within the West Midlands nBus area we are pleased to announce our new Adult single fare will be £2.90, which is lower than the fare cap scheme price.
In order to get the best value fare, you may find buying an nBus day ticket will provide better value for the type of journeys you make. nBus prices will remain the same in January, and provides a whole day unlimited travel across multiple operators buses in the West Midlands region for just £4.80!
