Diamond Bus North West has rounded off its community outreach this week with a visit to another local school, St Andrews Primary School in Eccles, as part of our ongoing support for children taking part in the Ironman Kids Run on 6th June in Bolton.
Following our recent visits to schools in Bolton, Wigan and Bury today’s visit in Eccles has allowed our team to attend the school to hand out further free entry tickets, giving more children the opportunity to take part in this exciting and inspiring event. The Ironman Kids Run plays an important role in encouraging young people to stay active, build confidence, and experience the positive benefits of sport in a fun and inclusive environment.
It was a pleasure to meet pupils and staff of St Andrews Primary School, seeing the enthusiasm and excitement from the children, we were able to discuss the importance of promoting physical activity and wellbeing from an early age.
Diamond Bus North West remains proud to support initiatives that positively impact the communities we serve, and we look forward to cheering on all participating children as they take on the challenge and cross the finish line on race day.
Matt Rawlinson Managing Director at Diamond Bus North West, says: "It's a pleasure today to be able to visit Eccles our 4th area within Greater Manchester, supporting the community is something we are proud off and this is about health and wellbeing, it's about encouraging young people to stay active and build confidence in themselves. I am personally proud that we are able to help so many children of Greater Manchester."
