Diamond Bus North West visits another Greater Manchester local school
20 May 2026
Diamond Bus North West started of our community outreach this week with a visit to Gorsefield Primary School in Radcliffe, as part of our ongoing support for children taking part in the Ironman Kids Run on 6th June in Bolton.
Following our recent visits to schools in Bolton, Wigan, Bury, and Eccles, our team visited the school to hand out more free entry tickets, giving more children the opportunity to take part in this exciting and inspiring event. The Ironman Kids Run plays an important role in encouraging young people to stay active, build confidence, and experience the positive benefits of sport in a fun and inclusive environment.
It was a pleasure to meet pupils and PE Lead of Gorsefield Primary School, seeing the enthusiasm and excitement from the children, we were able to discuss the importance of promoting physical activity and wellbeing from an early age.
Diamond Bus North West remains proud to support initiatives that positively impact the communities we serve, and we look forward to cheering on all participating children as they take on the challenge and cross the finish line on race day.
Matt Rawlinson Managing Director at Diamond Bus North West, says: "What we are doing is amazing for the Greater Manchester community, supporting the children is something we are proud off and this is about their health and wellbeing, it's been encouraging to see the young people excited about staying active It's building real confidence in themselves.
