Local Investment Supports Children’s Health and Wellbeing through Ironman Kids Run
30 April 2026
Diamond Bus North West are proud to continue our commitment to investing in our local community by supporting the health and wellbeing of children across Bolton.
As part of this initiative, we have donated free entry tickets to local schools, enabling children to take part in the Ironman Kids Run, taking place on 6 June in Bolton. The event encourages young people to stay active, build confidence, and enjoy being part of a positive and inclusive sporting experience.
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of visiting @St Josephs High School in Bolton to personally hand out the first batch of tickets. It was fantastic to see the enthusiasm and excitement from pupils as they received their entries, and to speak with staff about the importance of opportunities that promote physical activity and wellbeing at a young age.
Matt Rawlinson, Diamond Bus North West Managing Director Says: Supporting initiatives like the Ironman Kids Run reflects our wider commitment to giving back to the communities we serve and helping create positive, lasting impacts for local families. We are proud to be able to provide these tickets to children within the Greater Manchester community.
Tony Clegg Diamond Bus North West General Manager, Says: Being able to support the children of Bolton is something I am proud of, being a Boltonian myself and competing in an Ironman Event, I am pleased that we can create memories for the children of Greater Manchester.
Diamond Bus would like to wish all the children taking part the very best of luck and look forward to seeing them cross the finish line on race day.
