Diamond Bus – Redditch Business Awards Winners!

Diamond Bus are thrilled and proud to announce that our Redditch Depot was awarded Winner in the Employer of the Year category at the Redditch Business Awards ceremony this weekend.
The finals of the Redditch Business Awards, which were held at the Palace Theatre on Saturday 13th September, recognised the local businesses, people and organisations that are working hard to make a difference in Redditch. Organised by Redditch BID (Redditch Business Improvement District), these prestigious awards celebrate the achievements of local enterprises, highlighting their contributions to the community and the local economy.
As part of the community for over 11 years, Diamond Bus are honoured to have been announced as the Winners of the Employer of the Year category. A category which recognises businesses with a positive and inclusive workplace culture that fosters employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity.
Our staff are at the forefront of everything we do, every member of the team plays a key role in delivering a safe, reliable and enjoyable journey for the passengers we carry. We have a number of departments that help our business perform to the standards that are expected of us, from the Drivers, the Engineering Team, Cleaners and Fuellers to Customer Services and Admin. All our staff have important roles to keep our business providing the best service possible for the community and we are delighted that they have been recognised for the valuable contribution they make.
On receiving the award Kevin Collins, Redditch Operations Manager said “I would like to say how happy I was to be shortlisted, but to win has superseded my expectations. This really is a high point of recognition of the work we have been doing at Diamond Bus Redditch. Working with the Redditch team for nearly 10 years and focusing on employing local people to drive local buses is what makes us great, because employing local people means they have an understanding and commitment to serving the Redditch community.”
