Diamond Network Zone B term passes are a great value solution for scholars and students in full time education. Passes are valid evenings and weekends and during school holidays too, so they are great for schooldays and for fundays!

Diamond Network 'Zone B' (5-18)

• Network Zone B Term (5-18) - £320
• Network Zone B Year (5-18) - £850

Your Term pass will automatically be issued as an M-ticket which you can show to the driver on your smart phone. Now there is no more waiting for your bus pass to arrive in post and your pass will be safely stored on your mobile phone. Simply create an account on our website or download the Diamond App, upload your photo, buy your Term pass and it will be ready to activate at the start of term.

Pass Criteria:

Available to age 5 - 18 in full time education (min 12 hrs per week). Student Term pass holders aged 15+ are requested to carry proof of full time student ID when travelling with this pass, you may be asked to produce this by the driver or inspector to prove you are entitled to travel with this pass.

Valid on all* Diamond services within the following county boundaries; Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire.

From 28th June 2026 Diamond Network Zone B tickets are valid for cross boundary along the full length of the route on Services 76,76A,76B,76C & 76S

*Some service exceptions apply – Valid on Service 19A between Burton and Measham only (additional tickets to Mercia Park are available). Not valid on Tamworth NMA service. Not valid on Zone A Kinver services 242, 242S & 580. Not valid on 10S, 20, 829 and other certain contracted and school services. Not Valid on Diamond Zone A, North West or Diamond South East services.

General Terms and Conditions

• By applying for this pass, the applicant / parent or guardian confirms that the pass holder meets the eligibility criteria listed above.
• This ticket is automatically supplied as an M-ticket to activate in the Diamond Bus App. If you require a photocard bus pass, please email comments@diamondbuses.com with your order confirmation, name and postal address.
• You can choose either an M-ticket or a Photocard pass, you may not have both formats. If you request a photocard pass your M-ticket will be cancelled and no longer available to activate on the app.
• Once activated a Term pass is not transferable and can only be used by the holder shown on the front of the photocard or on the M-ticket.
• Term pass holders must carry proof of Student ID with them when travelling. You may be asked to produce this by the driver or inspector to prove you are entitled to travel with this pass. If you are unable to prove you are entitled to Student or Child rate fares, you may be charged a full adult fare.
• A Term pass may be refused / withdrawn by the driver or a company representative should it become defaced or used fraudulently.
• A Term pass remains the property of the Diamond Bus (East Midlands) Limited.
• In using a Term pass for travel the bearer agrees to the Terms and Conditions of Carriage of Diamond Bus / Diamond Bus East Midlands Limited.
• Please check for any zone boundaries or service restrictions to the pass you have chosen prior to making your purchase.
• It is the customers responsibility to ensure you have sufficient Internet Data and Phone Battery levels to ensure you can access your M-ticket at all times during your journey. If you are unable to produce a valid M-ticket during your journey you will be liable to pay the full fare for your journey.
• Lost Passes: If you lose your photocard pass, please email comments@diamondbuses.com for a replacement. Please note you may be charged an administration fee for a replacement pass.
• Please note not all services operate seven days per week.

Diamond East Midlands Student Passes (19+)

• Network Zone B Term - Student 19+ - £ 320

If you are aged 19 or over and still in full time education you can apply for discounted Student travel on the Diamond East Midlands Network.

Zone B Student passes are valid on all* Diamond Bus services in the following Counties: Staffordshire, Derbyshire & Leicestershire.

PLEASE NOTE: To gain access to these tickets you will need to be logged into a Diamond Bus ticket account as you will need to prove that you are a full-time student in order to purchase these tickets.

You will be required upload a photo of a document that proves that you are in full-time education. This should be a letter from your university or college, or your college photo ID, showing your name, name of college and your academic year dates (an NUS ID Card is not acceptable).

Your Student ID will be verified* by our team within the next 7 working days. You will have access to your M-ticket during this time, however if your Student ID is invalid and you are not entitled to Student travel your M-ticket will be cancelled and withdrawn. This ticket is non refundable.
