Borough Rd Road Closure - Phase 1 05/01/2026 13:04:16

From 5th until 14th January 2026

During the above road closure, services will be affected as follows:

All services heading towards New St, Burton will not be able to serve the following stops:
Borough Rd, opp Rail Station
Station St, opp Devonshire Arms
Union St, opp Sainsburys

Alternative stops are Derby St (Use this stop for the Rail Station) & New St.

Heading away from New St, services will serve Union St, Station St & Borough Rd as Normal.

Walton on Trent, Main St Closure 23/12/2025 14:57:32

From 6th until 28th January 2026

Main St Walton on Trent will be closed from 6th January, During this time Service 22 will be diverted between Walton on Trent and Drakelow, however no stops will be missed.

After serving Shoulder of Mutton Service will return via Rosliston Rd & Burton Rd to Drakelow.

Linton Heath Closure 05/01/2026 16:55:13

From 5th January until 15th March 2026

Linton Heath will be closed between Burton Rd and Main St from 5th January for mains water works.

During this time Services 19C, 21, 21E and 825 will be affected. The following stops will not be served by any of these services:
Linton Heath, All Stops
Linton Main St, Linton School

Alternative stops are:
A444, Mount Pleasant & Rickmans Corner
Linton Main St, Linton Post Office 

In addition to the above, Route 19C will not serve any stops in Linton at all. The nearest alternatives will be:
A444, Rickmans Corner & Mount Pleasant
Castle Gresley, Mount Pleasant & Bridge St

Service 21 to Burton will cover for the 19C Service through Linton to Castle Gresley.

Due to the length of diversion, temporary timetables will be in place during the closure.

Service 10 Changes 23/12/2025 12:06:36

From 4th January 2026

Please be aware that Service 10 Burton to Acorn Inn will no longer be operated by Diamond Bus East Midlands, with our last day of operation on this service being Saturday 3rd January.

Information for John Taylor Free School Students

Any students who currently use Service 10 to JTFS, are advised to catch Service 831 from Burton New St to School from 4th January.

Staffordshire County Council scholars pass holders for service 10 & 10S are not valid on Service 831, this service is for Diamond ticket holders only.

Diamond Bus ‘John Taylor Free School’ passes are valid on the 831 service and all other Diamond services in the Diamond Zone B network.

Measures will be in place to ensure Service 831 can accommodate additional passengers.
