Tamworth Service Changes 25/06/2026 15:05:03

From 28th June 2026.

There will be some slight operational changes to Diamond Bus Services operating in the Tamworth area from 28th June 2026.

Services 20, 66, 76, 76A, 76B, 76C & 76S will be fully operated by our colleagues at Diamond Bus East Midlands from this date.

There will be no changes to the routes, and the timetables will remain the same as currently.

There will be some slight changes to ticketing options available on these services as our Diamond Network Zone B tickets will now be available, as well as the current Tamworth Zone tickets*, bringing some great benefits to Tamworth passengers.

Diamond Zone B tickets are available at a lower cost than our Zone A products, with an Adult Zone B day just £6.50 and a Child Zone B Day just £5.50. This change also provides additional travel benefits as Zone B products cover the whole of the Staffordshire Diamond network, including services in Lichfield and Burton upon Trent. Staffordshire Knot Multi-operator tickets will also be available and valid within the Staffordshire county.

Our Zone A tickets will be withdrawn from these services from 28th June. For passengers who have existing Zone A tickets and passes in use, these will continue to be accepted on the services until 26th July 2026, however after this date they will no longer be accepted and Zone B products should be purchased.

For passengers on Service 76 who cross over the West Midlands county boundary, Adult £3.00 and Child £2.30 singles will continue to be valid for the whole route. nBus tickets will continue to be valid between Sutton Coldfield and Wiggins Hill Rd, Minworth or Bassetts Pole only. Zone B tickets and passes will be extended to be valid for the full route of the 76 Services between Tamworth and Sutton Coldfield.

(*Tamworth Zone tickets are not valid on Service 20 - special fares apply)
