Service 229 Tipton Rd Diversion 23/10/2025 14:49:07

From 24th October 2025

Due to the impact of roadworks affecting the reliability of Service 229, this service will be diverted from 24th October until further notice.

The service will go into Dudley via Sedgley Rd W, Birmingham New Rd and Priory Road, rather than Tipton Road. This means the following stops will not be served in the direction of Dudley:  after High St Tipton/Dudley Rd, Tipton Cross Rds, Black Country Museum, Castle Gate Island & Wolverhampton St.

Service will pick up at stops along the diversion route.

Service going in the direction towards Bilston is not affected and will operate as normal.
