Branston Rd is expected to be closed from 0800 17th Nov until 1700 21st November
Service 11 will be affected, and the following stops will not be served:
Anglesey Rd; Anglesey Court, South Oak St, South Broadway St, Branston Rd
Branston Rd; Anglesey Rd & Leicester St
Alternative stops are: Anglesey Rd, Cambridge St & Branston Rd, All Saints Rd

These routes will be affected: 12, 12E, X12, 10 JTFS, 827, 812, 831.
All these services will divert via Anglesey Rd. All stops on Branston Rd will not be served.
Alternative Stops are: Lichfield St, Anglesey Rd, Burton Rd.

Service 2 these stops will not be served: Short St (Shops), Somerset Rd, Cumberland Rd
Alternative stops: Short St, Heathlands Grange & Rosliston Rd
Service 22 these stops will not be served: Norfolk Rd & Cumberland Rd
Alternative stops are: Bedford Rd & Rosliston Rd

Please note that the RDHS service between Kingsway Boulevard Car Park to Derby Royal Hospital will end on Friday 8th November 2025
Changes to Services 8 & 9 13/11/2025 16:12:45
From 9th November 2025
From 9th November we are changing the way we operate Services 8 and 9, in order to improve reliability on both of these services.
Both 8 & 9 services will terminate at Burton New St, with onward travel to Queens Hospital available with the introduction of a new 7 & 7A service to the Hospital.
Service 7 will operate Monday to Saturday. Service 7A will operate Monday to Sunday.
The buses will change service number at Burton New St, however passengers are permitted to stay on the bus* and travel through from Service 8 to the 7A or, from service 9 to the 7 (On Sundays Service 9 will change into a Service 7A). The way these services will interwork is shown in the table below.
Passengers do not need to disembark* or re-scan a ticket at Burton New St for onward travel towards the Hospital or vice versa.
* Some connections may require transfer of buses
