From 9th June - 3rd July 2025

Twyford Rd, Barrow upon Trent will be closed for upto 3 weeks for roadworks, During this time Service 70 & 70A will divert as follows:

For services that normally travel to Barrow and then return: Continue along A5132 Main Road until Ferry Lane and use the Ferry Lane Triangle to turn and return.

For Services that continue to / from Willington: Continue along A5132 Main Road

The following bus stops will not served: Twyford Road, Barrow School & Walnut Close

Nearest stops will be on the Main Road A5132 & the stop near Sinfin Lane.

Service 21 Diversion - Linton 27/05/2025 10:25:15

27th May until further notice.

There will be closures along Main Street & Linton Heath until July.

Currently the 21 service will divert along Linton Rd, Hillside Rd, Main Street to turn at the Winchester Drive loop. The following stops are not able to be served: Mount Pleasant Rd, High Cross, Linton Heath & Linton School Main St.

Diversion details may change as roadworks progress.

70 & 70A Diversion & Temporary Timetable Weston Road, Weston-on-Trent Road Closure 25/04/2025 11:35:08

From 28th April until 19th June 2025

From 28th April until 19th June, an emergency Timetable and diversion route will be inplace on Service 70 & 70A, due to a long-term road closure at Weston Road, Weston-on-Trent. During this time services will divert as follows:

Service 70: Normal route until Weston-on-Trent Methodist Church, then turn back out via Swarkstone Rd, A50 southern Bypass, A6, B5010 to Shardlow, Aston Lane and Shardlow Road to Aston-on-Trent, resuming normal route at the White Hart Inn.

Service 70A: Reverse of above

These stops will not be served:
Kings Mill Lane, The Green, Weston Road, Yates Avenue, Chellaston Lane
